Scheduled Capacities
Overview
Scheduled capacities is where AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator gathers information from Scheduled Generators See Relevant Rules or Procedures regarding their Planned Availability Capacity in MW (capacity in MW) for the next 10 years.
The Scheduled Capacities tab displays the capacity information for your organisation for the next 10 years.

The information needs to account for the effect of the likely ambient temperature at the generation site, at times of high demand in the regional demand hub. This data forms a baseline of the generation capacity that is likely to be available at times of high demand within each region, specifically as calculated within defined summer and winter periods. The resulting data enables AEMO to more accurately estimate future available generation capacity at times of high demand.
